Free Workouts for Kids...Plus, a Positive Healthy Community for Moms

Staying Physically and Mentally Fit During Difficult Times

March 23, 2020

It's been a trying week for me, as I'm sure it has been for many of  us. So many changes to our routines and being faced with the unknown can  take a toll on our mental and physical health. For the last few years,  I've made my own personal health a priority and have been able to not  only lose weight (I still have a way to go, but I'm making progress each  day!), but have been able to learn how to better deal with every day  stress and even get off of medications for depression and high blood  pressure.

As a health and wellness coach, I've been able to  provide support to numerous other women by helping them implement or  continue their own fitness and nutrition routines. It is such a  rewarding job and one that I love (just as much as I love being your  Macaroni Mom!). I've been thinking about ways I can help more of you,  especially now. The idea to have an online community has been one I've  had for quite some time and after taking time last week to reflect on  what I can do, I decided that now is the perfect time to launch this  FREE group.

Positively Fit - A Wellness Community for Women is a place where one can go for a little extra positivity while also  learning about ways to stay physically and mentally healthy. In this  private group on FaceBook,  we will be sharing workouts, recipes and other tips as well as daily   motivation and support. There will even be some fun giveaways from time   to time, too! Right now, we will be focusing on navigating the way  through our new "normal", which will include some fun challenges and  even opportunities for you to get the kiddos involved and moving!

We  have a library of FREE workouts just for kids (parents can join in,  too!) that you can access online and on your own time. This is a great  option for that PE class that they are now missing.

I hope that you will join me at Positively Fit and that you encourage others to hop on board as well. This group is open to anyone (not just here in NoVA). See you there!
