Allegro Center for the Performing Arts is a full service dance-theatre performing arts center shop. Located in Warrenton, Allegro has a lot to offer to anyone wanting to learn more about performance arts, including theatre skills, several forms of dance, voice, orchestra, and so much more! Here is more about our Small Business Spotlight, Allegro:
What is the story behind your business? How did you get started?
We are a family founded, non-profit performing arts center. We started in 2004 as a Kindermusik studio for pre-school aged children. We had all been teaching private lessons previously. We quickly brought them under the new organization, expanding Allegro to a music school. In 2013 we moved to Warrenton where we added theatre. In 2020 we acquired a dance studio which allowed us to move into the full performing arts center.
What does your business offer its customers?
Allegro offers theatre, dance, and music for children aged 4 and up through adults.
What are some fun facts about you or your business?
We are built on the value statement - "all that enter shall learn, laugh & be loved." Another fun fact is that Allegro hosts & plans the First Friday Warrenton Street Fair that runs April through October.
What are you most proud of?
The fact that we are a full Performing Arts Center. This means we offer instruction and performance opportunities in dance, theatre, and music. The performances (such as our Allegro Community Players) are so amazing. We have an excellent staff of instructors and directors.
Are there any special offers you are running? Would you like to include any incentives for Macaroni KID subscribers?
New students enrolling in any regular class are given a 20% off discount on the first month (this does not extend to camps).
Is there anything else you would like to share?
Folks see us everywhere around town! It's our goal to be involved in our community. A healthy arts program flows over into the community and influences vibrancy in their community. Being involved in our community leads to open doors for our students participation in all sorts of events.
Where are classes held?
Classes are held at 65 Main St & 15 S 4th Street in Warrenton.
