Description
Pied Piper Theatre announces Auditions for Matilda the Musical based on the book by Roald Dahl. This Tony Award-winning musical tells the story of Matilda, an extraordinary girl with a wonderful spirit and a sharp mind who takes a stand and changes her destiny. Packed with high energy dance numbers and memorable tunes, Matilda is a joyous girl power romp. Children and adults alike will be delighted by the story of a special little girl with an extraordinary imagination. Notable songs include “Naughty,” “When I Grow Up,” and “Revolting Children”.
COVID POLICY FOR MATILDA
All cast, crew, volunteers and production staff for Matilda, the Musical must be fully vaccinated to participate in this production.
At this time, masks will be required for rehearsal. Performances will be unmasked.
Show Dates
Matilda, The Musical will be performed at they Hylton on May 28 at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. and May 29 at 3 p.m.
Rehearsals will be held Mondays and Thursdays from 6 – 8:30 p.m. and Saturdays from 9 a.m. – 1 p.m.

Prepare 30 seconds of a song and a one minute monologue. If you are able to do a British accent during your monologue, we would love to hear it. It is not mandatory to do the accent and will not prevent you from being cast if you aren’t able to do one well. Dance attire requested for the dance segment of the audition.
